WLP029-O Organic German/Kolsch Ale Yeast
Originating from a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this strain is suitable for German ales such as kölsch and altbier. Known for accentuating hop flavour and bitterness while creating crisp, clean lager-like characters, it performs exceptionally well at temperatures from 18 to 20°C and doesn't ferment far below 17° after storm fermentation. Typically has low flocculation characteristics after the first generation if you reuse the yeast.
