It gives the beer a distinct malt character with notes of caramel, toffee and bread, as well as a warm, dark red colour.<\/p>\n<h3>Flavour and use<\/h3>\n<p>The malt is well-suited for, among other things, amber ale, red IPA, bitter, brown ale, porter and other beers where you want more body, colour depth and a complex malt character.
