The variety has for many years been prized for its consistent quality, balanced flavour and subtle malt complexity.<\/p>\n<p>Pearl is an older winter barley variety that remains fully approved for brewing by the Institute of Brewing &amp; Distilling. It has largely been superseded by newer, higher-yielding varieties, but continues to be grown by selected farmers for brewers who value tradition and reliability.<\/p>\n<h3>How to use<\/h3>\n<p>Pearl Pale Ale Malt is a well-modified base malt with good extract and a sweet, flavourful wort.
