A little about STA1 (for the geeks...):
The STA1 gene (glucoamylase), a potential indicator of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus. These strains have the ability to utilize some dextrins (non-fermentable sugars) into fermentable sugars. At White Labs, we make every effort to detect unwanted organisms in our process and cultures. The strains we carry with known Saccharomyces cerevisiae were. diastaticus genetics have been researched and validated to work without excessive efficiency, which is possible through our almost 25 years of experience paired with internal and external fermentation data.
You can order more than is in stock, but your order will not be sent until the next yeast collection, see yeast . It will clearly appear that the order if you order more than a stock quantity.
