Choose hose clips according to the outer diameter of the hose

Hose clips are chosen according to the hose's outside diameter, not just its nominal or inside measurement. Measure the hose at the point where the clip is to be fitted and compare the measurement with the product's stated clamping range.

Nylon or stainless steel

The material is chosen according to environment, installation and application. Nylon clips and stainless steel clips have different designs and properties; therefore, read the product description for each individual model.

Check clamping range and mounting

Type designations such as B, BB, C and CC can help to distinguish the models, but they do not replace checking the stated dimensions. The clip must be fitted correctly without damaging the hose or the connection.
