WLP090-O Organic San Diego Super Ale Yeast
A strain with low ester production, it is known for fast fermentations and produces a neutral flavour and aroma profile similar to WLP001 California Ale Yeast®. Due to high efficiency, this strain produces very dry beers with increased perceived bitterness. It also has a high alcohol tolerance, which is suitable for a variety of styles and beverages from double IPA to barley wine, cider and mead. This is a great house strain and ideal for breweries producing hop-forward beers.
