Internal and external diameter
Sizes such as 8/12 mm normally indicate internal and external diameter. Check both dimensions, as the internal diameter must fit the flow rate and connection, while the external diameter is relevant for hose clips and couplings, among other things.
Check temperature and pressure
Silicone as a material does not automatically make any hose suitable for food contact, hot liquids or pressure. Check the specifications on the individual product page before using the hose.
Cleaning, inspection and replacement
Follow the product's instructions for cleaning and maintenance. Regularly inspect the hose for cracks, cuts, discoloration, persistent deposits, and deformation, and replace it at signs of degradation.
