Refilling and exchanging of CO₂ cylinders

Here you can order refilling, replacement and pressure testing of CO₂ bottles of various sizes. The selection also includes solutions for Quooker bottles and 425 grams of CO₂ bottles.

Will you choose a refill or an exchange?

Select exchange, provided the cylinder is covered by Lund Teknik's exchange scheme, and no more than 3 years have passed since purchase or the last exchange with us. You hand in the empty cylinder and take a full cylinder home.

Select refill, if the cylinder is not covered by the exchange scheme, or if more than 3 years have passed since purchase or the last exchange. Upon refilling, you will get your own cylinder back.

Important: When refilling, the cylinder must have been pressure tested within the last 10 years. The date is shown by the stamping on the neck of the cylinder. If the pressure test is older, the cylinder must be pressure tested again before it can be refilled.

In short:
Exchange scheme + maximum 3 years → select exchange.
All other approved bottles → select refill.
More than 10 years since pressure test → the cylinder must be pressure-tested first.

Exchange scheme for 2 kg cylinders

For 2 kg bottles, it is possible to purchase access to the exchange scheme. The price is calculated per month based on the bottle’s most recent pressure test. See the current price and terms on the product page.

Practical information about refilling

Refilling normally takes 1–2 working days. This means the bottle must either be dropped off and collected over two visits, or handled according to the delivery option shown on the selected product page.

The bottles are filled with ALIGAL 2 – food-grade CO₂ from Air Liquide.
