Thermometers and temperature measurement for home brewing

Precise temperature measurement is important throughout the entire brewing process. The temperature affects mashing, wort cooling and fermentation, among other things. Here you will find digital thermometers, liquid thermometers, Type K probes, holders and accessories for temperature measurement.

Select equipment according to the temperature range, the resolution and the type of probe that suits your measurement task. See also our complete selection of measuring equipment for pour-over coffee.

Temperature during mashing, cooling and fermentation

During mashing, the thermometer is used to monitor the temperature of the mash. During cooling, the measurement helps determine when the wort has reached the desired temperature, and during fermentation, the temperature can be monitored so that the development can be continuously assessed.

Choose thermometer by measuring range and resolution

Compare the measuring range, resolution and sensor type of the products. A digital thermometer provides an easily readable measurement, whereas a liquid-in-glass thermometer is a simple solution without a battery. Probes and holders are chosen to suit the thermometer and the application for which they are intended. Always follow the product instructions for use and maintenance.
