It was commercially released in 2006 in the USA after first being bred by Dr Yoshitada Mori of Sapporo Brewery in Hokkaido, Japan in 1984. Parents are Saaz, Brewer's Gold and Beikei No. 2. Clean bittering and lemon notes dominate if used early in the brewing process.
Flavour notes can include lemon zest, coriander and dill.
