Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner Malt – weighed out

Weyermann® Bohemian Pilsner Malt is a pale base malt made from Bohemian malting barley of the Bojos and Malz varieties. The malt has a nutty malt aroma and a malt-sweet flavour profile. The colour for this product is specified as 2.5–3.5 EBC, and the enzyme activity is high.

The malt is developed for Bohemian beer styles and is suitable for, among others, Czech Pale Lager, Bohemian Pilsner, Czech Amber Lager, Czech Dark Lager and Bohemian Bock. It can also be used in pale ale, saison, strong ale and wheat beer.

How to use

Weyermann states that this malt can account for up to 100 % of the malt bill. It can therefore be used as a base malt on its own or combined with speciality malts according to the recipe.
