Weighing of raw materials and additives

A digital scales can be used for malt, hops, yeast nutrients and minor additions, among other things. Compare the capacity and resolution of the scales so that the model suits both the quantity and the desired accuracy.

pH measurement and calibration

pH can be controlled with pH strips or an electronic pH meter. When choosing a pH meter, you should consider, among other things, the measuring range, resolution, electrode and possibility of calibration. Use the calibration agents and procedure specified for the individual instrument.

Maintenance of pH electrodes

A pH electrode must be stored, cleaned and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions. The correct cleaning and storage solutions help to keep the electrode ready for the next measurement. Always check the product description for the correct solution and application.
