   There's no doubt that party kegs are a handy solution, especially for those who don't want to take the plunge and invest in a Cornelius keg, but there's something “disposable” about them, and it's particularly noticeable with the tapping equipment which is made of flimsy plastic. A good tip would be to lubricate the tap before you insert it into the keg, so you don't have to use quite as much force, and thus risk breaking something.
