WLP023-O Organic Burton Ale Yeast
This strain originates from Burton upon Trent, England, renowned for bringing IPAs to the forefront. It produces a subtle fruity ester profile that can be described as notes of apple, clover honey, and pear. A background sulphur note is common with this strain. Fantastic for use in hoppy American and English styles such as pale ale, bitter, and amber. Can also be an alternative to WLP001 California Ale Yeast®.
