20 L EcoreKeg with bag and S-type coupler

Hygienic and sustainable serving

The EcoreKeg 20 L with bag and S-type coupler is a modern Bag-in-Keg system, where the beverage is kept completely separate from the drive gas. This provides great freedom to use CO₂, compressed air, or nitrogen without affecting the product quality. A lightweight, hygienic, and reusable solution for beer, cider, wine, cocktails, and many other beverages.

Short product description

The 20-litre EcoreKeg with S-type coupler has been developed for breweries, restaurants, bars and home brewers who want a professional solution for storing and serving beverages.

The integrated inner bag is attached to the spear and ensures that the drink never comes into contact with the propellant gas. When dispensing, a S-type coupling on top of the cork, after which the propellant gas presses on the outside of the bag. The result is a gentle serving, where flavour, aroma and carbonation are preserved from the first to the last glass.

The robust outer container can be used again and again, while the inner bag is replaced as needed.

Modern Bag-in-Keg system

EcoreKeg has been developed as a modern alternative to traditional steel kegs. The system consists of a robust, reusable outer container and a food-grade inner bag, which is fitted with an S-type coupler.

When a S-type coupling mounted on the dispenser, the propellant gas is fed in between the outer container and the inner bag. The gas therefore never comes into contact with the drink itself, but solely presses on the outside of the bag.

This means that the product's quality is preserved, while the risk of oxidation is significantly reduced.

Freedom of choice of propellant

One of EcoreKeg's greatest strengths is that the choice of propellant gas does not affect the beverage.

The system can be used with:

• CO₂
• Compressed air
• Nitrogen
• Mixing gases

For beer, CO₂ or mixed gas is often used, while compressed air is a particularly cost-effective solution for still products such as wine, juice, cocktails and similar.

As the propellant never comes into contact with the product, both taste, aroma and carbonation are preserved.

FAQ

Which coupler is suitable for this EcoreKeg?

This model is equipped with a S-type toothpick and therefore uses a standard S-type coupling.

Is the starter and the clutch the same thing?

Nej. Anstikkeren er den faste del, der er monteret i EcoreKeg’en, og som inderposen er fastgjort til. Koblingen er den eksterne enhed, der monteres oven på anstikkeren ved tapning.

Can I use compressed air as a propellant?

Yes. Since the propellant does not come into contact with the drink, the system can be used with compressed air, CO₂, nitrogen or other suitable propellants.

Does the propellant come into contact with the drink?

No. The propellant only presses on the outside of the inner bag.

Can the outer container be reused?

Yes. The robust outer container is designed for repeated use. Only the inner bag is replaced.
