Classic British hop profiles
British hop varieties are often associated with herbal, floral, spicy and earthy notes, but the characteristics vary from variety to variety. The variety and the time of addition determine the hop's contribution to the finished beer.
Blade or pellets
Pellets are compact and easy to dose, whereas whole-leaf hops consist of whole dried hop cones. Not all varieties are available in both forms, so choose based on the recipe, brewing equipment and desired filtration.
