DraftMore is patented World Wide and is produced in Denmark in co-operation with Danfoss.
DraftMore is ideal for small, simple installations that are typically located in an environment with varying temperatures and where dispensing is somewhat limited. This is typically where dispensing causes problems because the beer is left too long in the keg at the wrong pressure, typically at night if the temperature drops. This is probably a problem you can also recognise.

The technique
The patented DraftMore works as a secondary regulator. This means that you set the traditional reduction valve on the bottle to 3.5 bar pressure. DraftMore then regulates the pressure to the correct one depending on the beer temperature.
To achieve CO2 equilibrium (see graph), you need to set the CO2 pressure to be in balance with the temperature, but many people forget this and problems arise.
If the CO2 pressure is too high in relation to the temperature, the beer becomes overcarbonised. This can happen overnight or in a matter of hours. If the temperature of the beer drops 10 degrees Celsius and the CO2 pressure has not been adjusted accordingly, this means that the CO2 pressure is 0.8 bar higher than it should be and the beer is therefore overcarbonised and foams a lot.
With DraftMore, this will never happen again, as DraftMore makes this adjustment automatically.
DraftMore has a built-in membrane that controls the pressure very precisely. The membrane is filled with a mix of gases. Gas reacts very quickly to temperature changes. The membrane is filled in close co-operation with Danfoss and is produced at the Danfoss filling lab in Nordborg. Danfoss is one of the leading manufacturers of thermostats worldwide, which means that the quality and durability is extremely reliable.
In addition, DraftMore is made of aluminium, which conducts the temperature quickly. DraftMore is placed on the keg coupler where the beer flows through. The location is also of great importance as DraftMore regulates the temperature of the beer when beer is being tapped. When beer is not being tapped, DraftMore automatically closes the C02 connection down into the keg so that no unnecessary C02 is added, which can spoil the beer.
The function and location are patented worldwide and DraftMore is the only product with this unique feature.
The table below shows the balance between pressure and temperature. The pressure from the keg pressing up under the membrane in DraftMore and the temperature pressing on the other side of DraftMore gives the balance/equilibrium curve.
If you can't control the balance between pressure and temperature, the beer will either overcarbonate and contain too much C02 or undercarbonate and contain too little C02, both of which will cause dispensing problems.
If you control the pressure correctly in relation to the temperature, the system is in perfect balance and the dispensing is perfect.
