Keg King fermentation system upgrade to gen. 3, 35 litres

One of the biggest things about Gen 3 is that it is easily upgradeable. Any home brewer can get a Gen 3 by upgrading their existing 35L Fermentasaurus!
You will need a few tools and some time to install the upgrade kit. Everything you need is described in the user manual, which is available at the link below.

The new dump valve is called the piston valve. Compared to the previous Butterfly Dump Valve, it is a simpler, sleeker design.,
It is much easier to separate and clean. It is a more hygienic dump valve, and we believe it will help brewers brew even better beer than before, as hygiene is key to brewing good beer in the first place.

Much like a bung or a sink plug, the piston valve seals the bottom of the fermentation tank by being pushed in from the top. The seal is airtight.,
This ensures nothing enters or leaves the bung hole. And with an upward pull, the piston valve opens the bottom hole, allowing yeast and other sediment to fall through. It's as simple as that!
