Silicone hose 12.5 * 18.5 mm

The soft silicone is easy to work with and seals very well. Recommended for transferring hot spirits/herbs between mash tun/kettle.

The soft silicone is fantastic for transferring beer from fermentation to keg and fits 13mm (1/2 inch) hose barbs.

It is also recommended for handling spirits and for distillation, as it does not leach plasticisers like most other plastic hoses.

Internal diameter is 12.5mm and external diameter 18.5mm. Clear in colour, but will discolour / brown over time if you transfer herbs. This does not affect the usability of the hose.

Please note: This hose should not be used for pressures higher than 1.4 bar (20 psi). The hose has a burst pressure of approximately 2.4 bar (35 psi).

If you use a 13 mm hose connector, a 20.5 mm (17 – 20 mm) hose clamp can be used. If there is no pressure on the hose, I wouldn't use a hose clamp myself.
