Capsules are available in 2 versions: 26mm, which is the standard, and 29mm, which is used for ‘champagne’ bottles. A good tip is to use different colours for your brews, making it easier to distinguish between them without necessarily needing a label.

How to choose the right capsules for your beer

When it comes to bottling beer, the choice of caps isn't just about looks – although a nice cap can make your friends green with envy. Here's some practical information to help you on your way:

Standard capsules (26 mm)

The vast majority of home brewers use the classic 26 mm crown cap. It fits standard glass beer bottles, typically 0.33 litre and 0.5 litre sizes. These crown caps are available from Lund Teknik in several different colours, so you can easily distinguish between your different brews.

Oil-absorbing capsules – for extra quality
