Maltodextrin for more body and fullness

Maltodextrin consists of longer carbohydrate chains that standard brewers' yeast can only break down to a limited extent. It can therefore increase the body and mouthfeel of the beer without giving the same sweetness as lactose or ordinary sugar.

The product can be used, amongst other things, in beers that are perceived as too thin or dry, and in beer styles where a rounder and fuller character is desired.

How to use

Add according to the recipe and ensure the powder is thoroughly dissolved. For example, it can be added during the final stage of boiling.

Start with a moderate amount. Too much maltodextrin can make the beer heavy or give a less crisp mouthfeel.

• Fermented only to a lesser degree by common brewer's yeast
• Store in a cool, dry place and keep tightly sealed
