Oak Smoked Wheat Malt – whole 25 kg sack

Weyermann® Oak Smoked Wheat Malt is a pale, well-modified wheat malt that is gently smoked over oak wood. It provides an elegant smoky character with notes of fine cigar smoke, light caramel and biscuits.

For smoked wheat beers and specialty beers

The malt is suitable for, amongst other things, Weissbier, dark wheat beer, Weizenbock, Gueuze, fruit lambic, Lichtenhainer, Piwo Grodziskie, Wheat Wine and other smoked specialty beers.

Dosage and properties

Weyermann recommends a proportion of up to 80 % of the malt blend. The malt has high enzyme activity and can therefore be used in a large proportion of the recipe, depending on the desired smoke intensity.
