CARAWHEAT® – kilned as required

Weyermann® CARAWHEAT® is a golden-brown, intensely aromatic caramel malt produced from high-quality German wheat. Weyermann's special process caramelises the kernel almost completely and imparts subtle notes of caramel, almond, bread and baked goods.

For malt-forward wheat beers and modern IPAs

The malt is suitable for, among other things, American Wheat Beer, Weissbier, amber and dark wheat beers, Weizenbock, Witbier, Juicy IPA, Hazy IPA, NEIPA, London Brown Ale and Wheat Wine.

Dosage and properties

Weyermann recommends a proportion of up to 15 % of the malt mixture. CARAWHEAT® has no enzymatic activity and is therefore used in combination with an enzymatically active base malt.
