Weyermann® CARARYE® – 25 kg

Weyermann® CARARYE® is a brown, caramelised rye malt with an intense and complex aroma profile. It imparts notes of bread, coffee, dark chocolate and dried fruit, as well as a velvety mouthfeel. The colour is 150–200 EBC.

The malt is well-suited for malt-forward, top-fermented speciality beers, including Rye IPA, Juicy IPA, Hazy IPA, NEIPA, German rye beer, Russian Imperial Stout and multigrain beer. It can also be used for kvass.

Dosage

Weyermann recommends a proportion of up to 15 % of the malt blend. CARARYE® has no enzymatic activity and must therefore be combined with an enzymatically active base malt in standard brews.
